For example, per God's leading, our non-profit organization sponsored and supported the following outreach programs in 2012:
Soles for Jesus (SFJ) - a 501c3 non-profit corporation that provides new and gently used shoes to people of Africa who desparately need them. These people don't have commodities like bicycles, vehicles, bus passes, or other transportation - they simply need shoes on their feet to support them in their journey.
Operation Christmas Child (shoe box initiative) - 100 needy children will again this year receive a shoebox (Christmas gift) full of God's love (Jesus backpack, Jesus Lives activity and coloring set, Happy Birthday Jesus cup, toothbrush, toothpaste, two pairs of socks (per child), plastic cross necklace, whistle, flute, and paper sunglasses.
OCC_The Greatest Journey - a discipleship program that teaches children to become faithful followers of Jesus Christ.
Vacation Bible School & The Hope Program - 100 Jesus backpacks donated to First Baptist Church Edwardsville.
The James Fund - Family Christian Stores' Foundation, The James Fund, is a non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of orphans and widows around the world.
Sister Thea Bowman Catholic School - a ministry of the Diocese of Belleville, committed to deepening faith in Jesus Christ, providing a holistic learning approach to faith development and education to inspire, prepare, and empower kindergarten through 8th grade students in East St. Louis and surrounding communities.
